The first step in volunteering with the Portland Promise Center is to set up an introductory meeting with one of our staff to discuss your skills and determine the most appropriate area for you to serve. Thank you for your group’s interest in volunteering with the Portland Promise Center. We are honored that you would consider us as partners in facilitating your service alongside our neighbors. We hope that your time with us will enhance your understanding of the people and systems at the margins of our society, enlarge your experience of God’s kingdom among us and inspire your imagination to justice-based action alongside your neighbors at home.

The Portland Promise Center has a variety of service opportunities for groups interested in partnering with us. We welcome groups from churches, colleges/schools, corporations and community organizations. If you are interested in bringing a group to serve with the Portland Promise Center the first step is to set up an introductory meeting to discuss your group’s availability and skills so we may determine the most appropriate area for your service. For out of town groups this meeting can be done over the phone. To schedule this meeting please contact Eurana Horton.
