ShiLese Stover-Cobb is bringing a deep passion for community revitalization, youth advocacy, and economic empowerment. With an extensive background spanning workforce development, housing stability, community partnerships and nonprofit leadership, ShiLese is dedicated to advancing the center’s mission of meeting the physical, educational, and spiritual needs of families in Louisville’s historic Portland neighborhood.

• Served as a Housing Counselor and a current Commissioner for Jeffersonville Housing for the where she directly helped families navigate housing stability, financial literacy, and community resources.

• Worked as Vice President of Operations for Indiana’s Region 10 Workforce Board administering vital programs like Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) and handling regional workforce assessments to prepare the next generation of talent.

• Appointed to public service roles, including the Redevelopment Authority for the Town of Clarksville proving her dedication to local infrastructure and neighborhood growth.

• Actively serves as a Trustee for the Baya Corporation ("Beautiful As You Are"), mentoring young girls and driving local youth empowerment initiatives.

ShiLese’s approach to leadership is rooted in a lifelong family legacy of community service. As a devoted mother, wife and a passionate advocate for youth wellness, she understands firsthand the profound impact of providing a safe, enriching environment for children to thrive.
